Flying from the United States to Brussels

One of the things you will have to do after being accepted into the program is to buy your plane ticket to Brussels International Airport (airport code BRU; check airport website). We don't organize a group flight and you will have to make all these arrangements by yourself. For buying the ticket to Brussels, a good start is to look at the following websites:

  Flying within Europe

While in Antwerp, you will have time to travel on your own and we encourage you to. A cheap airline in Europe is Ryanair, and the sooner you book your tickets, the better the deal you get. However, a drawback of using this airline is that, in order to maintain cheap fares, they fly into airports that are a couple of miles outside the main cities. Thus, to get to the main city, you will have to take a bus, which will add a couple of euros to your travel fare. For more information, check their website.

Another good airline for your trips in Europe is Virgin Express. They fly from and to the main airports and, therefore, it is easier to get to the city. For cheap fares, you will also have to book early in advance. Check their website for more information.
