Field Trip Policy

You are expected to attend all field trips.  You are also expected to meet the bus or train at the appointed time, so as not to hold up the entire group.  Failure to do so will lower both the Professional Behavior and Field Trip components of your grade.  Note: trains do not wait for late students, and will leave without you.

For all field trips, you must:

bulletWear appropriate shoes--you will do a lot of walking over uneven cobble stone streets.
bulletCarry an umbrella with you
bulletCarry a water bottle with you
bulletCarry directions on how to get back to Antwerp, in case you get separated from the group
bulletCarry adequate money so you can buy a ticket back to Antwerp, in case you get separated from the group
bulletCarry a photocopy of the first two pages of your passport (the pages with your photo, passport number, etc.)
bulletRealize that public bathrooms are few and far between, and that they cost money to use.
bulletStay awake during bus tours.  If you choose to wear sunglasses during a bus tour, I must be able to see your eyes.  If I can't, I will assume you are sleeping and your grade will be lowered.

If you do not have the above mentioned items, you will not be allowed on the bus or train, and your grade will suffer accordingly.
