Important DatesEarly admission deadline - November 15, 2004November 15, 2004 is the early application deadline for the Semester in Antwerp, fall 2005 and spring 2006. Last year, the fall semester filled up on this date. We encourage you to apply for spring 2006 if you want a better chance of being accepted. (Please note that acceptance into COB 300 is also mandatory - learn more). If we do not admit a student to the fall semester, the student can choose to be placed on a waiting list or apply for the spring semester. Students have higher chances to be accepted into the spring semester than the fall semester. Those put on a waiting list will only need to pay their deposits if any of the 30 accepted students drop out. Normal admissions deadline - February 1, 2005In practice, this date is usually too late for the fall 2005 semester, but adequate for the spring 2006 semester. Apply for COB 300 first week of spring semester, 2005Since there is a two-step acceptance process, it is critically important to apply for COB 300 as soon as possible. If the College of Business denies acceptance into COB 300 to any of the 30 students we accept into the Semester in Antwerp program, we will refund the student deposit, and the student will not participate in the semester. The first student on the waiting list who is accepted into COB 300 will fill the open slot, and we will continue to go down the waiting list until all slots are filled. Mandatory student meetingStudents accepted to the Semester in Antwerp must attend three required meetings where they will learn some important information about the semester. We will later determine the date, time, and place of these meetings. We will discuss flight itineraries, courses, cultural differences, paperwork, visas, passports, etc. We will email all the students accepted into the program the dates of these meetings. Search for meetings and events on the OIP Calendar. |
