Eligibility Requirements for 2006

JUNIORS & SENIORS

To be eligible to pledge, undergraduate students must meet or exceed ALL of the following requirements:

1. Full time student

2. Declared accounting, finance, or CIS major

3. Have completed at least 9 semester hours in accounting classes (including 241, 242, 343) (accounting majors only).

4. Currently possess an accounting GPA of 3.0 or better in upper level accounting or CIS classes (excludes 241 and 242)

5. Currently possess a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better on all coursework overall

Please note: For transfer students, accounting and CIS hours transferred may be used to meet (3) above, however, grades from those classes may not be used in computing (4). Also, requirements (4) and (5) must include grades for any repeated classes.

SOPHMORES:

To be eligible to pledge, you must meet the following requirements:

Full time student
Declared accounting or CIS major
Currently possess a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better on all coursework overall

NOTE: You will not be initiated until you have taken your first upper level accounting class.

Graduate Students

To be eligible to pledge, students at the graduate level must meet or exceed ONE of the following requirements:

1. Must have the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in accounting or CIS and must:

a) be a full time student

b) have completed 6 hours of graduate level courses in accounting or CIS with a GPA of 3.00 or better

c) have achieved an overall GPA of 3.00 or better

2. Must have completed 12 semester hours of undergraduate level accounting or CIS courses and must:

a) be a full time student

b) have achieved a GPA of 3.00 or better in undergraduate accounting or CIS courses

c) have achieved a GPA of 3.00 or better in all graduate accounting or CIS courses

d) have achieved an overall GPA of 3.00 or better
