Examples of Inappropriate Footwear
Here are some examples of inappropriate footwear that caused much suffering for students. Even open-toe Birkenstocks were no match for the European cobblestone streets we encountered. Please note that if you wear such footwear, you will not be allowed on the bus for field trips, and your field trip and professional behavior grades will suffer. Also, this is not fashionable in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Holland, and anywhere else we may go.
Recommendation: wear good closed-toe running or walking shoes (e.g., New Balance, Nike, Addidas, SAS, etc.).
