" -MEC Constitution The Madison Economics Club (MEC) is a student governed and maintained organization that sponsors lectures, workshops, and travel events of interest to students and faculty. Lecturers are arranged to address relevant economic, business, and political related issues. We also plan to take informative trips to private and public institutions such as a Federal Reserve Bank for events such as the Fed Challenge. The Madison Economics Club sponsored activities (such as a bi-weekly book club) provide additional opportunities for faculty and students to share their professional interests. Any student may become a member of the Madison Economics Club.
