NBER Working Paper Series. You can open this database file in Microsoft Access to get an index to working papers from the National Bureau of Economic Research. The papers are available to JMU faculty and staff in JMU's Office of Economic Services Library. Student researchers who would like access should contact the program secretary, Mrs. Grunewald.

Carrier Library. Link to the Carrier Library online catalog and many offsite resources.

Econ-Lit database. Click through this site to open Econ-Lit from any on-campus computer. Excellent article search capabilities!

Economic Report of the President (Statistical Tables). The tables issued with the annual Economic Report of the President provide lots of good data.

Economics Resources on the Internet. An excellent source document, frequently updated, about what's out there.

Econ Data Net. A useful site for local and regional data on various sectors of the economy.

Government Economic Data. You paid for it; why not go look at it? This Census Bureau site is a good place to start.

Statistical Abstract. This is an excellent source of state-by-state data, with lots of national data too.
