Minor Requirements
To get a minor in economics, start out by
taking introductory macroeconomics (GECON 200) and microeconomics (ECON
201).
Then you only have to complete 12 more credit hours in economics, six of
which are at the 300 level or above. The minor totals 18 credit hours.
Students whose career plans call for a minor in economics should pay close
attention to selection of electives. Economics faculty members are
available for advising about courses that would be especially helpful for
such pursuits as financial services, consulting, law school or graduate
school.
