Northern Piedmont Emergency Digital Net

This net is sponsored by the Albemarle Radio Club in Charlottesville.

The net meets every Tuesday night
at 7:00 pm local time on the 146.895 repeater,

which uses a PL tone of 151.4 Hz
and a minus transmitter offset of -0.600 MHz.

As of January 2011, the net was using the Olivia digital mode, 4-tones, 500 kHz bandwidth.

Software for the Olivia mode is FLdigi, and its associated programs FLmsg and FLwrap.

You can check into the net without connecting your computer to your radio
by acoustical coupling:  hold your computer mic up to your radio speaker to receive,
and hold your radio mic up to your computer speaker to transmit.
