The government maintains several huge storage facilities for this substance within
a few miles
of our University, (along with thousands of others all over the country)
and if any one of these facilities were to suffer sudden failure resulting in major
release,
millions of dollars in property damage could result, and dozens of people might
die.
Yet, in spite of the danger, most people are unconcerned.)
