MARA QRP Group

QRP is the art of communicating with very low transmitter power.  QRP gets its name from the Morse code pro-sign for "Reduce Your Transmitter Power".  QRP'ers often build their own transmitters, receivers, keys, and other radio equipment.  Often this equipment is simple, elegant, and works surprisingly well.

You don't need special skills for QRP.  But it really helps to have mentors and other like-minded individuals to help you get started.

A group of QRP enthusiasts meets the Tuesday after the First Thursday of every month.  Most of the time, this is the second Tuesday of the month, but not always.
