The calligraphy banner was presented to Dr. Rose during the ceremony by Christina Updike, president of the Employee Advisory Committee. Staff members' signatures filled the banner, which was beautifully rolled, covered, and tied with a ribbon. Loretta Grunewald inscribed the calligraphy on the banner.
