Keeping House Around 4th Floor, Zane Showker Hall, College of Business

TO:  4th Floor Work Center Faculty, Econ & Ibus Graduate Assistants, 4th Floor Student Assistants

Here is a review where to dispose of paper products.  Note that corrugated cardboard has air channels running through it.  Flat cardboard is just that - entirely flat - and is not recyclable.  Packaging with a plastic lining is not recyclable and should be placed in the tall trash can for Housekeeping to remove during trash pickup at night.

Paper Wrappers from copier paper:
Green recycle bins in Mailroom 436

Corrugated cardboard packaging:
Flatten and slide between green recycle bins and the wall in the Mailroom. A note has been placed on the wall pointing to the narrow slot.

Corrugated cardboard boxes:
Carry out to the elevator and place on floor next to the lobby table

Flat cardboard packaging and boxes (not corrugated):
Tall trash cans in Mailroom or Copy Room

Discarded copies in Copy Room:
Recycle box on floor next to copier.  Shred if sensitive in nature.

Old telephone directories:
Green recycle bins in Mailroom 436, top bin where newspapers are placed.

The Recycling Team picks up on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the green bins and from the shredder/recycle box in the Copy Room.
