Outside the campus, I am an avid guitar player although I must admit my desire far exceeds my talent. I listen to and play mostly blues guitar and have attended several blues guitar workshops including the Fur Peace Ranch and Blues Week at Davis and Elkin's College. Current guitar heros include John Cephas, Ernie Hawkins, Jorma Kaukonen, Mary Flower , Chris Smither and Eric Clapton.
