Purpose

The SAC is a diverse group of College of Business students who act as liaisons between the student body and the dean of the college. The SAC is dedicated to evolving the College of Business through innovative ideas and alliances created with the college faculty, administration, alumni and stakeholders.

The SAC is comprised of two students from each of the academic units of the college, the dean and the associate dean for the college. Each unit selects its student representatives, being careful to consider representation from undergraduate and graduate programs as appropriate.

The SAC performs the following duties within the College of Business:

• provides student input regarding matters impacting the college.
• meets on a regular basis with the dean of the college to discuss issues relevant to the CoB.
• participates in Executive Advisory Council meetings twice a year.
• recommends projects and programs that will contribute to the development and educational experiences of CoB students.
