Q: what are the due dates for projects or assignments?
A: all due dates are clearly specified in the agenda and deadline files for that day or that week and posted on Canvas.
Q: how to hand in projects?
A: It is required that each student hands in a hard copy before the due date, and upload the file to the designated Assignment on Canvas. The file should use a file name that is composed of the last names of all of the group members, such as, WangP_HW01.doc in order for me to find it after downloading.

A: you can find a copy of the agenda for a class or for a week on Canvas Assignments.
Q: how to hand in assignments?
A: most of assignments should be individually hand – written and thus hand them in as they are. Some portion of assignments may be required to be typed. The typed portion should have a file name as lastname_firstname_HW01.doc as the file name to upload to the designated Assignments on Canvas. A hard copy is required when the assignment is due even though a soft copy (file) is required.

A: there is a mandatory attendance requirement for COB191. You will get bonus points for perfect attendance. You will be penalized for each class you missed and will be penalized for missing a portion of a class through out the whole semester. Please read COB191 course syllabus for details.
Q: I added to your class late and should I not be penalized for the classes I missed before I added to your class?
A: each student in the class is and will be equally fairly treated. In terms of attendance, there is no difference when you added to the class. Each student started with the bonus points and be penalized for each class missed including the missing due to later registration. Please read the syllabus for details.

A: your attendance and all of other grades are recorded each day and posted on Canvas under Grades.
Q: why does the class
test average I got through email differ from the one you give in class?
A: the one from email does not count the students who missed the tests and did not count any adjustments I made.
