Econometrics: 385

Econometrics is, from the root words, "economic measurement," or the measurement of economic relationships. Effective December 2007, all the resources for alumni of Econ 385 will remain on this open site, but class materials will be moved to the student-access-only Blackboard site.

In econometrics, researchers seek to understand and predict behavior. Here's an example of how the press sometimes misunderstands the role of econometrics.
