| The Center
for Economic Education I'm proud to be associated with the Center for Economic Education. Our mission is to promote economic literacy in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We do this by offering training, materials and consultation to public and private school teachers in our area. Since 1972, James Madison University has supported a Center for Economic Education. I'm the third director. My teaching load is reduced by one course to give me time for Center work; the rest of the time I'm a regular economics faculty member.
