- Hobbies
- Our son Sykes is 9 years old and our daughter Abby is 6 years old. Our main hobby is containing the two of them. We are stopping at two kids so we can continue to play "man-to-man" defense.
- Our activities are generally centered around the kids and include making giant slip-n-slides (over 100 feet), cooking s'mores around a fire in the backyard, making chalk drawings in the driveway, nerf-gun wars, dance dance revolution on the WII, going to Purcell Park, hiking in the mountains, having a picnic on the quad, lightsaber fights, playing XBox or WII, playing with Legos, getting ice cream, wrestling until someone gets hurt and wants to quit, and movie nights at the house (Star Wars is BIG in our family). We are big theme-park fans and we spend a good bit of our vacation taking the kids to the different parks.

After the Kids go to bed, Beth and I watch The Office, Modern Family, and Parenthood. Beth absolutely loves the show Glee and because I really like hanging out with her, I watch it also. We even went to a live Glee concert in New York this past year.
- Although we rarely get the chance, there are activities that we pursue outside of kids. Beth plays the piano and guitar and sings as well. She grew up sailing at Camp Seafarer and wants to teach our kids to sail when they get older. I like playing intramural flag football, snowboarding, and intramural ultimate frisbee. Beth has great skills with a frisbee and so we love throwing with each other.
