What are due before the 1st Class?

1. Read the Course Syllabus /video and finish the Quiz on Blackboard/Assignments/Quizzes/Quiz Syllabus. Read carefully to get 100% correct for the quiz.

2. Bring a good notebook, pen and calculator (Cell phone, PDA or sort can NOT be used as calculator on tests or final exam) in each class.
3. Finish reading Ragsdale Chapter 1 or watch a video for a summary of it about Analytic Modeling
4. Finish reading Ragsdale Chapter 11 Forecasting from pages 485 to 498 and work out examples there.  You should 
   1. Print and bring to class a copy of the FcstLecture.pdf, Forecast class notes and read pages 1 to 15 up to the top 15 rows of page 15.
   2. Read Ragsdale pages 485 to 498, and watched Fcst1.swf to help you understand what covered there -- we will ONLY briefly go over it.  The contents there are well covered in the Fcst1.swf.  1 to 1.5 hours are needed
   3. Print and bring to class a copy of the Forecast 1 problems /xls (the answers will be posted after the class)-- you should prepare for questions and answers as well - 30 minutes
